How to move

Bologna's city center is easily explored on foot, with its splendid covered porticoes (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Walking is often the easiest way to explore the main sites.

Operated by TPER (buses for the city and the suburbs).
Tickets are available at tobacconists or via mobile app/credit card on board.
Useful lines to/from the city's points of interest and the train station: 28, 35, 38, 39.

Bologna Centrale is the main railway hub with high-speed trains to Florence, Milan, Rome, Venice, etc.
